The Petrified Horde is an acousmatic composition based on one cello which got overdubbed to form an orchestra or horde of cellos. Through transformation of its musical parameters and spatialization, a story was created that should throw the listener in an infinite sea of timelessness.
This piece premiered at the virtual concert halls of Metaverse | Sound Campus as part of the Ars Electronica Festival 2020.
